My Skills

What I know

I am skilled in User Experience Design, leveraging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I am proficient in PHP, having used it extensively to develop WordPress projects across various roles. My experience spans multiple eCommerce platforms, including WooCommerce and Shopify, where I've worked with both the Liquid templating language and the Hydrogen framework. I am well-versed in various templating syntaxes: Blade for Laravel, Twig for Craft CMS, and Antlers for Statamic CMS.

In terms of JavaScript frameworks, I specialise in React and have been heavily involved in developing components for React and Next.js applications. During my time at SOAK and Brew Digital, I have worked with the Strapi Headless CMS and utilised Inertia.js to create WordPress websites using JSX components and layouts.

As a self-confessed Tailwind CSS convert, I have transitioned from writing bespoke SCSS to efficiently creating and styling applications with Tailwind. I confidently customise the framework to suit project requirements through class extensions and plugins.

What I hope to learn

While my experience with server-side languages and DevOps is limited, I recognise their importance. I believe understanding these technologies is crucial for all developers, even those specializing in front-end development.

I proactively expand my expertise through courses in React, Next.js, Laravel, TypeScript, Svelte, Remix, and other modern technologies. I consistently seek ways to deepen my understanding of my daily tools while maintaining a focus on clean, maintainable code for the future.
